New York Philharmonic In Central Park

Every summer in NYC the city offers fun events in Central Park.
Usually these events are so busy and crowded that we don't take advantage of them.
But this year, an awesome friend was willing to stake out an area on The Great Lawn in Central Park so a group of 25 (or so) of us could enjoy the New York & Shanghai Philharmonic concert in the park

Maybe you can't tell, but our seats were AMAZING
Diane & Lauri (and little Moe) Diane is the gem that held our seats from 6am till 4pm...in a torrential downpour! She is 100% hardcore and earned a round of applause from our entire group.

A couple missionaries, Marlon, Dana, & Barbara
Dana was signed up to feed the missionaries that night, so she invited them to the concert for a picnic. Lucky guys!

More of our group
Andrea & Slade (with a few friends pulling faces in the background)
Marlon and Dana
Cassidy and I went stag that night so we decided to be each others' dates.
Nighttime view of the stage
Pretty skyline from The Great Lawn that night
Can you guess which building I work in? Can you spot the blurry Chrysler building? Do you see NBC Studios?

Thanks to Diane we all had an amazing time! It was one of those nights that gave me goosebumps - reminding me how lucky we are to live in this crazy, incredible city.
