After my personal pleas via the internets, and our awesomely successful karaoke fundraiser, I have reached my individual goal of raising $2500 to fight poverty in NYC!!

Last night I went to an amazing Team Robin Hood pasta dinner hosted generously by Del Posto Restaurant. During the delicious carbo-loading meal I listened to school principal, Jabali Sawicki speak about the difference Robin Hood has made in the lives of his students throughout Uncommon Schools. Hearing his stories about the kids whose lives have changed thanks to funding provided by The Robin Hood Foundation reminded me why I am running this marathon.
It also reminded me why I am so grateful to everyone who has shown their support along the way. The lives of actual people living in New York City will change because of YOU.
